Yes, I have devolved into talking in lolcat speak. I can has elocution lessons?

The lovelyanthimaeria sent me a goodie bag all the way from the states! It has chocolate, and more chocolate, and a plushie lobster and a cool pen and tons of other cool things!! Thank you darling, you made my week!! Flora has stolen the pen ,and William has stolen the lobster.  But I have hidden the chocolate mwahaha.

It's thursday, and I LOVE thursdays, because it's one more sleep til Paddy gets home.  They sent him to Scotland this week, can you believe it?! A twelve hour drive to do what?  Sit in a field and play with his radio.  And no, that's not a metaphor for something else.  *sigh* Still, he gets Monday and Tuesday off, so we've got a lovely long weekend to look forward to, and no kids ALL day tues, as Flora is starting full days at preschool *yippee*

I'm doing really well on my snarry_holidays fic, even though I had to get an extension.  And I like it, a lot.  Which doesn't happen much, to be honest.  Tons of other writing assignments due in before Christmas, so I'd better get my skates on!

Talking of fests, why aren't you all over at hp_cross_fest reading all the fabulous cross_gen offerings?!  We've had some absolutely stunning fics turned in, and you're really missing out on a treat if you're not reading!  I'm not going to rec any one fic, but I will just say *cough.. Harry/Scorpius..cough*

(no subject)

Wow.  So i posted my Daily Deviant a few days ago.  The theme I chose was infidelity.  And for the first time ever, I actually considered, then wrote, a Snarry infidelity fic.  I'd sworn I wouldn't write infidelity, at least not with my OTP.  It was both heart-breaking and ridiculously challenging to complete.

One of the reviews says, "So painful, I'm crying."

This pleases me more than I can tell you.  I can only remember crying over one fic, and that was 'If You Are Prepared' by Cybele.  Damn, that fic had me traumatised for weeks.  You'd have to be dead not to be moved by that fic.  But anyway, my point is, it made me cry.  And it takes a lot for me to cry over a fic.  Perhaps some people cry quite easily reading fics, maybe some not at all, I dont' know.  All I know is that I'm chuffed to bits someone was moved to tears reading it. 

Of course, I've just re-read this post, and it could be construed in an entirely different way. ie. your fic was so painfully bad, I'm crying...*g*
